  1. Work

I think technology does effect higher paying jobs in the sense of them taking over humans jobs. they replace the labor that we do in a very less cost. they machines cost alot more money but in the long run it pays to get it because they are alot cheaper then regular workers and also they dont call out sick, i mean yea the machines might need maintence but then again they are always going to be there

  2. I think our intelligence is a very fascinating thing that we have, like on the video says we don't know where it comes from, well supposelly god created us so that makes him very intelligent but the question is who created him? It means that there's someone more intelligent than god, and also who created the creator of god? This we'll never know but if this exist, means someone out there is very very intelligent. Also it's amazing how bacteria gets comfterble where ever it stays, and in the mean while it gets smarter over time and it survives a long time too. So for now us, humans we have to be glad to have some intelligence because if we didn't have any of it we wouldn't know what to do and would never advance on technology, or anything else.

  3. The article on "How Technology is Eliminating Higher-Skill Jobs" is quite interesting. This can even be seen centuries ago, with the invention of the cotton jin, loom and printing press. The development of technology, even in these three inventions, did take over people's jobs but it did create a stonger output at a faster pace with less workers. Overall this did enable society to build a stonger economy and more developed society than they would have if these machines were never conceptualized. While it is true, that it is quite scary to think that machines, with the flick of a switch, can do a human's job it does not mean that they can do all jobs. While they may be able to do more tasks at a quicker pace, they will never replace certain professions. Although they may aid in the profession, like the development of the robotic arms for use in doing inspections of the space shuttles. They will never be able to replace the job of a doctor or nurse or even a less glamorous job as a busboy.

  4. The article "How Technology is Eliminating Higher-Skill Jobs" is something I would have to agree with because most business's would rather have a machine that could do the work instead of paying 7 people to do that one job. It would cost that company more at the time to buy the machine but it would save them money in the end, which is why I think that as time goes on technology will keep taking jobs away from people. I do agree that they can not replace every job with a machine that such things as doctors, and CEO's.

  5. The significance of the house that would make it passed all distructions simply shows us that technology will always prevalle above all forms of human life because it simply cannot be destroyed. The dog dieing tells us that human need esential things to survive and without those essentials they will die because they arent strong enough or imperative enough to make it like a machine which requiers little to no maitnece at all.
